I remember this one awesome day back when I was in high school that we had pretty much no school work the whole day! It was in the beginning of the school year and it was a little cold outside. The school’s commercial heating system broke down. So what they did was cancel all classes for most of the day and let us all go hang out in the small school gym we had. They had a bunch of portable space heaters set up in there to keep us warm. Then they called the local heating and air conditioning company to send out someone to perform some serious commercial HVAC repair. While the heating and air conditioning specialist was working on the school’s commercial heating and air conditioning system repair we all did nothing! They did not even make us have to take classes in the gym. We were having fun playing basketball, hanging out and chatting. We were hoping that the certified heating and air conditioning specialist working on the commercial heating and cooling system would take forever to fix it! We were all really hoping that they would just send us all home for the day. But that would be too much of a good thing. Finally with only an hour left in the school day they fixed the commercial heating and air conditioning system. Then the school finally had the heating back in order. Instead of making us go to class for a lousy hour, they actually let us just continue to hang out and do what we wanted!
