I have no idea what I was thinking when I decided to purchase a window air conditioner.
It was hot in our area for the first time in decades. I live in the North, and it doesn’t actually get hot where we are. Well, that was until a few weeks ago. It got pretty warm, and it felt like we were burning up inside of our house. I couldn’t believe that we might actually need an air conditioner. I talked to my wife about it, and she told me to go out and purchase a cheap air conditioner. She didn’t think that it was going to stay very warm, and a cheap air conditioner would be nice to have even if the temperatures dropped. I agreed with her, and I drove to the store to purchase the cheapest air conditioner that I could find. When I got to the store, I asked an employee where I might find a cheap air conditioner. He took me to the HVAC section of the store, and then he began his rise to try to persuade me to purchase the more expensive models of an air conditioner. First, he explained that most of the cheap air conditioners were gone, but he thought that people would regret purchasing a cheap air conditioner. He convinced me that these air conditioners wouldn’t last very long, and I would be investing in the future by purchasing a nicer air conditioner. Since I was already looking at nicer air conditioners, he showed me the most expensive air conditioner on sale. I purchased it, and when I got home, I burned the packaging and installed it. The temperatures cooled down, my wife was angry, and I couldn’t return the air conditioner.
