Grandpa is getting older plus his memory is not quite what it used to be.
He has been getting more plus more forgetful but he is entirely adamant: he does not want to go into an outdated folks home.
He wants to remain independent as long as possible so the people I was with and I have a nurse who checks in on him every day, and the people I was with and I all try to call at least once a day too to make sure Grandpa is doing okay plus the people I was with and I took away his car keys because he entirely shouldn’t be driving anymore. He’s okay with this because the people I was with and I make sure he gets everything he needs plus the people I was with and I bring him meals too, however even the stove is turned off for safety. However, he still managed to start a fire when he left a book on top of the space heating system last week. Thankfully, he tested the situation as soon as the smoke detectors went off… Nonetheless, the people I was with and I know that the space heating system is a little too dangerous for Grandpa however it gets chilly at evening so he needs some sort of heat. The people I was with and I decided to all pitch in plus have central heating installed plus Grandpa’s house. The central heating system is a lot safer because it’s almost impossible to start a fire even if Grandpa leaves his books on the vents. The people I was with and I also have the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C workers install a smart control unit so the people I was with and I can monitor the un-even temperatures in the house. The people I was with and I can even do this remotely from our cell iPhones plus adjust the temperature for Grandpa no matter where the people I was with and I are. This should help Grandpa stay in his own beach current home a bit longer plus stay safe.
