In our house, you can tell if an fight is brewing based upon temperature alone.
- My husband is a legitimately recognizable person, and he prefers everything in his home to be perfect.
However, the things that he considers perfect are far from what I would consider perfect, especially when it comes to Heating and Air Conditioning units. I will admit that I could be a little more balanced in our approach to Heating and Air Conditioning units. I am sure that if I tried to set the temperature control to 70 degrees, he might complain, but he wouldn’t be completely mad. The only problem is that hot and cold temperatures that high make myself and others sweat uncontrollably. I grew up in a home where the cooling system was always running. Even during the Wintertide when our family has the furnace on, I was allowed to keep our cooling system running in our room. I am used to the cold, and being in a home without their conditioner running consistently makes myself and others uncomfortable. My husband is the polar opposite. She prefers the heat. If he had his way, the furnace would be running for more than half the year. If he could set the temperature control to 90 degrees, I suppose that he truthfully would. Obviously, you can see where the argument over the temperature control could escalate. At first, it would start with us telling each other how the two of us would adore to use the Heating and Air Conditioning units. When neither of us would budge, the two of us began to adjust the temperature controls when each other wasn’t looking, which resulted in full-blown fights. Unless the two of us find a way to compromise, our Heating and Air Conditioning units might come between our relationship.
