My beach house has a lot of structural issues.
When the people I was with and I purchased it back in 2001, the draft in the beach house was so awful that the people I was with and I could see the curtains moving near the doors plus windows, even when they were shut! Every one of us knew that something had to be done about the cracks in the doors plus windows.
When the people I was with and I had someone come take a look at the beach house to beginning repairs, they mentioned that the people I was with and I would be saving a lot of money by updating our doors plus windows. However, I did not realize that the Heating as well as A/C system was so awful in the house. Every one of us were used to window component a/cs plus space gas heating systems in the Winter months. The method of replacing the entire Heating as well as A/C system in our beach house was so overwhelming. Every one of us put the project off for various years, dealing with the warm summers plus chilly winters as they came. Neither my hubby nor myself are high repair, nor do the people I was with and I have adolescents. Once the Heating as well as A/C was updated, the people I was with and I understood why it was so important- out electric bill was nearly split in half! Every one of us had been overpaying various years for energy that was not even being utilized. It is such a shame to assume that so various people have to deal with these issues as first time homecustomers. I am ecstatic that the people I was with and I now assume how much money can be saved simply by having an energy efficient heating plus cooling system.
