Clog in tubing with the drain

Having central a/c is a necessity in the southeastern area of the country year round, however even the Winter time months can get absurdly hot, with highs in the upper 73s and oppressive humidity, but i’m blessed to have toiling a/c, but lately I have been having difficulty with the air cooling to what I have been setting it to on the thermostat, one day before leaving my cabin for work, I set the thermostat to 72 degrees as I always do.

I don’t appreciate for the plan to run always while I am not home, because then I’m spending money for cooling an area that I am not in at the time, when I return cabin in the evening I crank the back down to 68 degrees, which is a particularly comfortable temperature for me.

One evening I observed, though, that the plan had a really hard time getting the air temperature down to what I had set it at, however being ignorant of all of the potential reasons why this was happening did not help me at all. I just chalked it up to believing that because it had been a really tepid day, the plan was struggling to get the air cooled. When I woke up the next day, I got up to more than 2 inches of water on the floor around the closet that my air handler is housed in. I right away started panicking, turned off the and ran around looking for towels to mop up the water. I don’t think what made me look in the tubing that was connected to the handler, but I observed that water was coming from it, however there was a large clog in the pipe, and once I cleared it out it seemed to solve the problem.
