Installing a air conditioner in the doghouse

I would have to be the first person to admit that I spoil my pet dog, and that I spoil the dog even more than I spoil my kids. I know a lot of people don’t really get it, but my dog loves me with an unconditional love like I’ve never gotten anywhere else, but anyway, I’ve recently been fighting with my son about the fact that I want to install a heating and air conditioner system in the pet house in the backyard. I just can’t help but worry about my little fluffy baby when the weather is too warm outside. I know she needs to have her very own little air conditioning unit installed in her dog house so she won’t get too hot. She doesn’t like it when the temperature outside gets to be over 72 degrees or so, and so I know that she will greatly appreciate having her own air conditioner. My son says that I am a complete nutjob for even thinking about installing a heating and cooling unit out there for my dog. He even intimated that I care about the pet more than I care about him! When he said that, I just looked at him and told him that my pet never yells at me about heating and a/c problems. He didn’t like that very much, either. Anyway, even though it might be spoiling my pet, I’m still going to push ahead and have my local HVAC dealer come and install the air conditioning unit in the doghouse. I believe my son thinks that I’m spending his inheritance or something. At least I still haven’t told him about the pet sized gas logs and the fireplace I’m thinking of installing in the pethouse next!
