It had been over 3 years since I last had the ductwork of my central heating and air conditioning system cleaned. This was not a good thing and I knew it! But the fact of the matter was that I just didn’t have the extra cash to get my ductwork cleaned the past 2 years. Money has been pretty tight between the job I work cutting hours and especially with the result of what has been going on in the world as of lately. But I knew it was finally time to do this one way or another because I noticed that there was dust coming out of the air vents of the central heating and air conditioning system. This was my major reminder here. At this point I called the local heating and air conditioning company and scheduled the certified heating and air conditioning specialist to come out to do the ductwork cleaning. When that day finally came and the heating and air conditioning specialist came to do the ductwork cleaning, they even commented how bad it was. I was told that the ductwork cleaning was going to take a little longer than usual which in turn meant it was going to cost a little more than what a ductwork cleaning would regularly cost. Since this was all my own fault to begin with, I totally understood this and ate the cost of it. But I will say that I will never let something like this happen again and in the future I will go on and make sure my ductwork is cleaned a few times per year!
