There is that certain sound your central heating and air conditioning system makes when it is on its way out.
And that is a click and clank type sound when it turns on and off.
This was starting to happen to me the last few months. And when I heard that sound, I knew it was time to call the local heating and air conditioning company to have them send out one of their certified heat and a/c specialists to do some serious HVAC repair work on my central heating and cooling system unit. I am lucky enough to have one of those heat and a/c service plans through the local heating and cooling company. This way, when things like this happen and I get that click and clank end of HVAC life sound, I know I will be both covered and not have to worry about dropping a fortune on a brand new up to date central heating and air conditioning system unit. Within the HVAC service plan that I have, it covers the replacement of any central heating and air conditioning system that may break down once and for all through no fault of the owner. And usually, when you get the click and clank sound warning, that is a sign of just age. Which makes sense in my case since my central heating and air conditioning system is over a decade old. That is usually about the time most folks have to replace their central heating and air conditioning system units. Sometimes 15 years. But I was not that lucky for the extra 5 years.
