Upgrading to central air conditioning system for the sake of air quality

The two of us waited quite a few years before installing central air conditioning system into our home; Our location in the northwestern area of the country means exceptionally long and chilly winters with short summers, then the two of us regularly rely on the furnace for multiple to more than seven months per year and see un-even temperatures down to negative twenty 5… Despite the brevity of the Summer eason, both of us sporadically experience un-even temperatures in the upper eighties and high humidity, and just as frequently, the whole Summer is cloudy, chilly and wet.

The two of us managed by installing window air conditioners in the family rooms and electric box fans in the rest of the house.

The portable air conditioners cost less than $200 a piece and were super easy to install. The investment in a central air conditioner seemed unnecessary. However, when our oldest child was worked on with asthma and serious pollen irritations, both of us needed to make some changes. Suddenly, indoor air conditions was a major priority and dusting and vacuuming wasn’t enough. The two of us needed to take more proactive measures. Shutting the windows to keep out bugs, pollen, exhaust fumes and exterior pollution was a nice start… Adding a central cooling method not only helps to maintain a comfortable temperature but works to circulate and filter the air… I also make an effort to update the air filters more frequently. I am surprised by how often both of us use the air conditioner; Even when the conditions aren’t especially tepid or humid, running the cooling method keeps the whole house fresher, cleaner and more comfortable. It was honestly a worthwhile I was investment. I spent extra for a higher efficiency model to keep operating costs as low as possible.
