We were able to afford an important condo with an extensive amount of property, because everything was in bad condition! The condo had been left vacant for nearly 5 years, before that, the owners had neglected official service and repairs, and while the structure of the condo was sound, both of us needed to upgrade windows, electrical lines, plumbing fixtures, all appliances and the whole heating and cooling system.
Walls, ceilings and floors needed to be torn out due to water destruction and rodent infestation.
At first, both of us had plans to do everything ourselves. We were looking forward to tackling the landscaping and beautifying our property, however, every project took longer than expected. We ran into all sorts of complications. There simply was no time to work on the exterior of the home. We got actually overly weary of looking at waist-high weeds, overgrown trees and vines climbing over the garage. We finally called in a professional landscaping company to fix the chaos… Once both of us sat down with the representatives from the company and discussed ideas, both of us got excited. The professional had thought of things that both of us never would have come up with. They had a honestly structured idea for how to layout the gardens and walkways. They took into consideration where the sun would hit and for how long, and what we’d utilize each area for. They set aside areas for the teenagers to play, an outdoor living room and even the swimming pool both of us hope to install someday. They planned ahead and made sure both of us wouldn’t regret our landscaping decisions later. We also added a fence for aesthetics and safety and security.
