This summer time was right within the margins once again. It was hot. It was humid. And it lasted for about 4 months. That’s pretty much par for the course when it comes to what you can expect out of our regional summer time weather. The calendar has flipped to October which allows me to officially refer to summer time in the past. And that doesn’t hurt my feelings. I undoubtedly lowered the thermostat a few degrees while in the peak heating hours of the day. That’s how you recognize for sure that the two of us are actually over summer. The A/C isn’t even coming on much until well into the day. But after all the heating, ventilation and A/C cooling the two of us need to manage the summertime heat, that too is a welcome sight. I wouldn’t even recognize how to live here if there wasn’t access to the charming residential heating, ventilation and A/C that the two of us all seem to just take for granted. While I do my best to preserve the heat through the Spring as well as early summer, it’s still so nice to have heating, ventilation and A/C cooling to count on. But the A/C is doing more than simply blowing cooler air. Actually, the A/C is also making sure that the two of us aren’t overrun with mold as well as mildew. The A/C process starts by moving heat energy outside. And with that, the heat pump takes a bunch of moisture from the air as well. Thus, the two of us have balanced humidity levels inside our home. So the two of us don’t have to spend all summer time with bleach as well as water trying to knock back the mildew in our homes. Remember that the next time you’re thinking about A/C.
