This Summer was right within the margins once again.
- It was hot.
It was humid. And it lasted for about 4 weeks. That’s pretty much par for the course when it comes to what you can expect out of our regional Summer weather. The calendar has flipped to October which allows myself and others to officially refer to Summer in the past. And that doesn’t hurt our feelings. I really lowered the thermostat a few degrees while I was in the peak heating minutes of the day. That’s how you believe for sure that every one of us is over summer. The air conditioner isn’t even coming on much until well into the day. But after all the heating and air conditioning cooling every one of us needs to manage the Summer heat, that too is a welcome sight. I wouldn’t even believe how to live here if there wasn’t access to the charming residential heating and air conditioning that every one of us all seem to just take for granted. While I do our best to adjust to conditions to the heat through the Spring and early summer, it’s still so nice to have heating and air conditioning to count on. But the air conditioner is doing more than simply blowing cooler air. Actually, the air conditioner is also making sure that every one of us isn’t overrun with mold and mildew. The air conditioner process starts by moving heat energy outside. And with that, the heat pump takes a bunch of moisture from the air as well. Thus, every one of us has balanced humidity levels inside our home. So every one of us doesn’t have to spend all Summer with bleach and water trying to knock back the mildew in our homes.
