Heating and cooling are important part of dining experience

The anticipation for that first dinner out was almost more than I could bare.

Of course, like many, many other people, I didn’t see the inside of a restaurant for over a year.

Thankfully, we could still get take out or 2020 might have been a whole lot worse than it actually was. Still, for me not to dine out was a big sacrifice. I did my best to enjoy cooking from the safety and comfort of the air conditioning at home. My wife and I made each other wonderful dinners each week. This was taking the place of our date nights which normally were spent dining. For us, dining is a shared love. We are both wildly into good food, good wine and a good time. So having to forego that wonderful trio to stay inside with the HVAC equipment running wasn’t easy at all. But once my wife and I were fully vaccinated, we decided to choose a place we’d never tried before. The place we chose for our first excursion out of the HVAC safety of home came recommended. Again, I was nearly beside myself with the thought of actually sitting down and enjoying some fine dining. And it all started out just fine. The service was great and the food was just as it was presented to us by those who recommended this spot. However, we were really sorry to have to deal with such subpar heating and cooling. The dining room was so hot that I was sweating before we even got the entree. We’re hoping this is just a one time problem. But we’ll be having a drink there first before we commit to a full meal again due to the HVAC insufficiencies.
