For the past three years, I have been delivering flowers for a company in town.
The supplier is 1 of the largest florists in the neighborhood & they supply fresh flowers Sunday through Sunday.
I supply flowers 5 mornings every week. I consistently work on Thursday & Sunday & I work three additional mornings throughout the week, none of weeks ago, the heat in our delivery truck stopped toiling. At first the heat would not work on the maximum setting. After a couple mornings, the heat would only work on the lowest setting. Then the heat did not work at all & neither did the fan. I told our boss about the concern with the heat as soon as the first concern occurred, but he totally ignored our request for a repair. After I complained a minute time, he claimed there were no other delivery trucks available. I do not guess why our boss will not maintenance the heat in the delivery truck, but it’s almost December & the temperatures are only getting colder. If he does not maintenance the heating concern before the first snowfall, I am going to contact the human resource department & file a complaint. When the temperatures are below freezing, there is really no reason for me to drive around in a car that does not have heat. My job is already difficult. I have to make sure none of the flowers are disfigured while driving from 1 site to another & I never get a break except during supper time. I could find other jobs delivering if this 1 does not get better.
