Sprinting down the air conditioner repairman

As I jogged up our street, I saw the Heating plus Air Conditioning maintenance van pulling out of our driveway

Last July, I had a concern with our central air conditioner. Without any warning whatsoever, it completely quit while all of us were in the middle of the night. I realized there was an issue when I woke up to an harshly hot house. I fiddled with the temperature control, messed with the settings on the cooling unit plus updated the air filter. That is the extent of our issueshooting proficiency plus none of our efforts worked. I then called a local Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier plus arranged a time for repair. They assured myself and others that a licensed supplier would show up at the lake house between 10 AM plus 2 PM. I was not blissful about waiting around all morning for air conditioner repair. I was forced to take the morning off from work. The lake house was so hot plus sticky that it was strenuous to accomplish anything. I easily wanted to get a workout but was reluctant to run on the treadmill in such hot conditions. I waited around for the repairman until 3 o’clock. When he still hadn’t shown up, I assumed he wasn’t coming at all. I decided to go for a run outside. The temperature was up to 86 degrees, plus our multiple mile run was excruciating. I was not glad that I was headed back to broken air conditioner. As I jogged up our street, I saw the Heating plus Air Conditioning maintenance van pulling out of our driveway. The repairman had finally shown up, knocked on the door plus realized nobody was home. There was no way I could let him leave without fixing our air conditioner, despite our exhaustion, I sprinted down the road, waving our arms plus shouting at the Heating plus Air Conditioning van, fortunately, I was able to flag him down.
