Which type of HVAC work do you want to do?

I am a recruiter for a large trade school in my home town. This week, I recruited a young kid that wanted to be an HVAC technician. The HVAC field is a super exciting field, and since not many people actually want to work as HVAC technicians, I was pretty pumped that this kid wanted to be an HVAC technician. However, when I asked him what type of HVAC technician he wanted to be, I go absolutely no answer. It seemed like the kid didn’t understand that you could do a bunch of different things as an HVAC technician. That made me realize that there might be other people that don’t understand the HVAC field, and that is why I have decided that I want to explain to you the different types of HVAC work that you do. The first type of HVAC work is residential. A residential HVAC technician would primarily work in homes and very small businesses. These HVAC units are typically pretty small, and the work is not that complicated when it comes to the HVAC unit. However, the spaces might be difficult for the HVAC technician to fit in. Another type of HVAC work is called commercial. Commercial HVAC technicians work on HVAC units that are located in businesses. The HVAC units are much larger and more complicated. Finally, industrial HVAC units are even larger HVAC units and require a lot of specialties. When I asked this kid, he has no idea. Hopefully, my explanation can help him to decide how he wants to specialize as an HVAC technician
