I am going to the local contractor today to look at some of the new HVAC systems they just got in stock.
I would like to replace mine soon and need to start looking at my options to see which one is the best fit for my budget and my flat.
I would love to have a smart thermostat and an HVAC system that is lower maintenance than my current one which is getting up there in years. I want to go for a bike ride soon though first because we have had a rainy morning but I just looked out and it looks like the rain has stopped for the time being. I can go to the air conditioning business later, even if it is raining, but trying to ride the bike and hold an umbrella would just make me look like a fool. I was actually in the cold sea the other day doing my cold dip while holding an umbrella to keep my head from getting wet, how is that for a fool! My friend is an air conditioning technician and he told me that he would come by to look at my HVAC system to see the size of the air handler and the location to assess what it would cost to replace it. I think he is going to do the labor for a good price because we have helped each other over the years and he is a fair and honest guy. I could help him with the HVAC install because I have some experience.
