Honestly, until yesterday, I was unaware a central HVAC unit could fail because of working too much.
I recall reading about this somewhere, but I never thought it was true. I’d thought that provided you get your HVAC unit tuned up and check ups, kept your HVAC duct clean and replaced your air filters every month there was no way that a central HVAC system that was new could even overwork itself. Well, I was way wrong because it happened to me last week. With the horrible weather I have been having, my central HVAC had never run so much, but I didn’t realize it was going to lead to it finally working itself to the ground. What ended up happening was the motor burnt in the end. I had an Heating & Air Conditioning emergency on my hands. The right thing to do was call the local heating & AC supplier and have them send out a certified HVAC specialist to repair or replace the motor of my central HVAC unit. Since the timing was bad, I had to also spend money for emergency HVAC services to get them out the same morning within an hour or two. That was such a hot day. The bill was high, but my central HVAC system is running. When dealing with terrible weather, you just can’t know if such an issue will happen.
