Really, it all just seemed to have happened for a reason.
The way it all sort of lined up plus came together is now sort of obvious to me.
Of course, when I escorted out of the zone controlled Heating plus Air Conditioning of the office I had occupied for more than a decade, I couldn’t see it. At the time, I was just a casualty of a merger. That corner office with the temperature control all our own was mine a single morning plus gone the next. When the merger went through, I sort of tried to canvas our bosses who all thought that our position would be safe. That wasn’t the case. Nor was it the case for some of those gentlemen either. It was certainly just a pretty giant purge. The severance package was nothing to sneeze at plus helped with a softer landing. In fact, I used some of that severance pay to invest in a up-to-date cabin office. Along with all the regular office stuff that I would need, I had a ductless heat pump installed as well. Since our oldest is out of university plus making his own way, It was his room that I took over. But it’s also the hottest room in the house. Every one of us live in a region where the heat is the deal plus that room was a roaster. This is why the ductless heat pump was necessary right from the jump. Oddly enough, I was able to sort of keep calm plus get on with maybe doing our own thing while I looked for other employment. It didn’t take a month before I was doing freelance consulting for some of the genuinely companies that I used to compete against.
