I had a workroom in the back of the basement, & I wanted an air conditioner unit.
I secured that area as my own when my wifey & I bought the home 2 years ago.
I had recently put some tools down there & I was setting up my woodworking area. I wanted to have some ventilation & air conditioner, to keep the wood dust out of the area, & to keep him & his unit cool. Over breakfast that evening, I talked to my wifey about getting a ventilation system & air conditioner unit down there. She called the HVAC business & asked for their input. There were no windows in that area, which was going to be a problem. The HVAC company asked if he could put some conduit through the brick wall, & my dad shrugged. He asked what the conduit was for? The HVAC company said he could particularly install a mini cut unit, which was ductless HVAC. He could also install a ventilation system love the a singles the people I was with and I had in the washroom, if he could get through the brick wall? The ventilation system would be much stronger since it had to remove small particles & not just aromas. I called my sibling, who was a stonemason, & asked if he thought they could drill holes in the brick wall. My sibling told the HVAC company he had a star drill that could drill through anything. A month later, I had a ventilation system along with HVAC in my workroom. My wifey was happy with how the task looked, & I was happy with the price.
