Working From Home Has Its Perks

with temperatures reaching into the ninety degrees during the mid day, I couldn’t stand at home.

I’ve been laboring from condo for more than two years now and I’ve fallen in like with it. I like having the flexibility with our hours, how casual it is, and how much time I save not having to commute to and from work. I started in the office, however was transitioned to our condo with almost everyone else when the virus spread, however originally, I thought I’d be laboring from condo for a few weeks and I hated it. I hated having to rely on myself to get things done and I didn’t think how to separate toil life from condo life. Over time though, I’ve realized that our like for laboring from condo runs deep and I don’t suppose I can ever return to the office. I realized this yesterday when I was forced to toil from a community office space because the air conditioner went out in our house. with temperatures reaching into the ninety degrees during the mid day, I couldn’t stand at home. No open window or breeze from a fan made myself and others cool enough to get anything done! Luckily, the city I toil in has a community office space that you can “rent” for the afternoon. A lot of people who toil from condo participate in this because they like having anywhere to go and dedicate their work. The space is enjoyable and there’s air conditioner, however like our old office, I can’t control the temperature and I’m at the mercy of someone else. In our own home, I can adjust the temperature although I like and it’s wonderful.
