I’ve never considered myself someone who is often bothered by the temperature of other people’s homes.
- I guess picking the temperature of your home is personal plus can only be understood by the person who really lives there, which is why the thermostat should always be left untouched by guests.
I also never comment on the temperature unless it’s something positive because it can make people guess uncomfortable when their home doesn’t guess “right” to others, recently, however, everything I stood for was put to the test when I entered our cousin’s home plus it was entirely freezing. It was a warm plus humid summer time day when I went over, plus I couldn’t suppose the bitter air I felt as soon as I crossed the threshold. Immediately, I began to regret our choice of clothing because it felt like an igloo! My cousin was dressed in pants plus a sweatshirt despite the temperature outside plus I could tell immediately that this choice in temperature was intentional. I casually found the thermostat plus saw that she had set the a/c to 65 degrees! Her home was close to 3 thoUSnd square feet plus she was cooling the entire thing to sixty five degrees, all while wearing fall plus Wintertide clothes. I wanted to say something so badly about her exhausting choice of temperature, although I wanted to ask her even more if she was crazy? There’s no telling what her utility bill is if she’s running her air conditioner at 65 degrees in this heat!
