One of the worst things about my task is that I spend a lot of time outside. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of benefits to laboring outdoors such as the fresh air, being attached with nature, as well as not feeling confined to a desk all day. However, since 71% of my task is spent outdoors, it gets tricky when the weather is less than ideal. There is some flexibility if the weather is calling for rain or thunderstorms, but there’s not much wiggle room for the high or low un-even temperatures, however personally, I can deal with the low un-even temperatures that the Winter time brings, although I have a actually hard time dealing with the harsh heat. It’s love my body can’t physically deal with the sizzling un-even temperatures, especially if there is any humidity in the air. I’ve tried to combat the heat with a lot of gadgets on the market, but nothing has been a miracle solution. Thankfully, there are a few staples that help keep me cool on the hottest of days that I can’t avoid. For starters, I’ve invested in lightweight clothing that is moisture wicking as well as keeps my body cooler than a generic cotton shirt. Second, I wear a portable fan that sits around my neck with a miniature fan on each side. It’s battery powered as well as self-explanatory to charge via USB during the evenings when I’m not laboring. This portable fan has been a crucial lifesaver because it keeps my head cool, which is a single of the main extremities where heat as well as air are lost. The neck fan has more than three settings that range from low to high as well as they are powerful enough to keep me cooler than if I wasn’t wearing it at all.
