Storms happen frequently while I was in hurricane season.
I might not ever get hit with a hurricane, but it doesn’t mean that I still won’t end up with destructions while I was in the season; Even a good tropical storm can bring down lots of rain as well as wind, but rain as well as wind cause destruction on their own. The trees are not groomed truly well in the town. During the last storm, many of the trees fell on the power lines. Since the entrance to the neighborhood was flooded, there was no way to get crews to the neighborhood to maintenance the power problem. Every one of us were out of power for 5 afternoons. During that time I sad about the items in the freezer! My youngsters complained about the fact that there was no power as well as no AC. They weren’t upset with the $300 worth of groceries that I purchased many afternoons before the storm. They were upset with the fact that it was 85° in the home as well as they couldn’t play Pokemon on the nintendo. Sometimes our youngsters drive me crazy as well as it’s times like that when I want to remind them how spoiled they are. During those many afternoons the youngsters whined as well as complained frequently about the lack of air conditioning. When the power was finally back on, they did not leave their room for afternoons as well as afternoons. They stayed inside the home office as well as under the blankets as well as played video games all afternoon. They didn’t even want to go to the pool when a couple of friends called. They had enough heat while I was in those many afternoons to last the rest of the summer.
