Problems with hard water

Our house doesn’t have access to the town’s water supply, instead, we have a water well on our property; While we have a plentiful supply of water, it is overrun with an abundance of calcium, lime & rust; The hard water disfigures everything it touches.

The aerators on our faucets continually become clogged & need to be cleaned.

The finish on the showerhead & faucets corrodes much more swiftly than they should. The sinks & tubs become stained & require cleaning with abrasive chemicals. Because of the hard water, our soap, dish soap, laundry detergent & shampoo doesn’t lather appreciate it should, & we need to use more of it. It creates an excessive amount of soap scum that adds to cleaning requirements, then our towels, bed linens & clothing gradually develop an red-like hue due to the water. I realized undoubtedly swiftly that I can’t use a dishwasher, but at the end of the washing cycle, the plates & glasses would be cloudy & spotted. I’d end up rewashing everything; Plus, any of our appliances that come in contact with our water have troubles. They need to be frequently repaired & never last as long as expected. The service & updatement costs add up. While a water furnace should last at least 10 to fifteen years, ours correctly needs to be updated every more than two years. The two of us also deal with lots of clogged drains & poor water pressure. The minerals buildup in the pipes & restrict the flow of water. The hard water even affects our hair, skin & teeth. I have troubles with psoriasis that I blame on the hardness of our water. The two of us have tried various uncommon types of water softeners & water filtration systems. None of them have proven successful.
