It was way too tepid over at our neighbor’s crib the other night when we went over there for dinner, and this was the first time that we both had been invited over there, and so we really wanted to go.
Both of us wanted to see what the inside of the loft looked like, so we accepted the invitation even though we don’t really want to get all that chummy with the neighbors. Both of us thought that it would be a great plan to go over there for dinner anyway, and so my lovely fiance made her famous apple cake for dessert while I brought over a bottle of wine. Both of us had a fairly great time at first because we all just sat around and talked outside around the garden. However, when we all decided to go inside the house, it was just terrible. The temperature inside the crib was way hotter than it was outside the house, although I could plainly hear the cooling system running. I feel that they were maybe having problems with their central air conditioner. That had to be the issue because everything else in the loft was lovely. The decor and the furnishings were appealing and the food was great too. However, it was so tepid inside of their loft that I could barely even take it. I could not wait to leave and go back home so that we could cool down next to our trusty cooling system and relax. If we ever go back over there for dinner again, we both will make sure that it is during the colder days of the year.
