Back when I did not have a dual fuel system, I had installed a window unit in our home office alongside the central air conditioning to help with energy efficiency and also for our indoor comfort since it is where I spent most of our time when I was at home.
After I got our hybrid system, I replaced the analog thermostat with a smart a single, allowing myself and others to change or adjust the temperature in the home even when I was at work.
All this so that I could save more on the energy cost. I knew the SEER rating of our outdated Heating and A/C system could have been better since it was an outdated model, but I could not afford to have quality Heating and A/C equipment. I was even dreading the repair proposal I had signed up for with the air conditioning business, but I knew I had stretched our luck with the air conditioning filter replacement and some other air conditioning repair that the cooling products required. I needed to get a new washable filter, but I kept telling myself that I lived close to the ocean, so it was not necessary; in truth, the air purification in our place was not so superb and needed a major air conditioning rep, then with the modern spend money cuts at our workplace, I could barely afford an air conditioning workman fee. I was feeling truly aggravated since I was residing on the bare minimum. If I passed the last interview I attended, it would relieve myself and others greatly since it was a well-paying task. In the meantime, air conditioning care had to take a back seat. I had even screened our windows with a mesh to keep the bugs out when I opened the windows at night for cooling. I hope to get the task and afford a new air conditioning install.
