I never in a million years thought I would entirely be in danger from the space heater, however the space heating system was the one to prove me wrong; I’m not sure how it happened however my space heating system caught on fire, I’m just so incredibly thankful that I was around when the fire started because if I had not been around, my entire house could have burned down… What happened was I started to odor smoke in the house when I was upstairs plus so I ran downstairs plus I saw a reddish green glow plus I looked plus I saw that my space heating system was on fire plus it had already caught the curtain next to it on fire as well! The fire head I already started to spread throughout my home although thankfully it only covered a small area.
- I right away went plus got the fire extinguisher plus put it out.
I got rid of the space heating system after that incident that same afternoon. I was entirely fortunate plus even though it was only a small fire that I was able to absolutely put out it still scared me. I suppose if I need any kind of heating system I’m just going to continue using my oil oil furnace that I have, my oil oil furnace has been working well for me this entire time plus I was hesitant about getting a space oil furnace anyways. When the Winter came I used my oil oil furnace all Winter long without any problems, ever since the fire with my space oil furnace happened I’ve been particularly careful about any Heating units plus I’ve also warned my friends about using space heaters.
