Fortunately, my neighbors can’t say the same thing
I have always lived in a very cold climate but tonight is going to be much colder than even I would expect! It wasn’t for the fact that I had my heating and AC system tuned up and ready to go, I would be really worried about having my heater going out on me. If my heater went out of me I would be in a really bad situation because then I would have to call emergency HVAC services and have them come out and take care of my heater. Thankfully a couple years ago, I upgraded to a brand new heater and completely replaced my old one. It wasn’t a hard decision to make, as much as I had liked my old heater I had needed a new one for a long time because my old one was so old that it was starting to give me problems and it got to a point where even the heat and AC professional was recommending that I get a new heater rather than continue to pay for repairs. So I picked out a new heater and I’ve continued to have it maintain the service ever since then. Since it’s been in such great condition and I continually have it tuned up and looked after I feel more than confident that it will last me this winter just fine. Fortunately, my neighbors can’t say the same thing. However there are a few people around here that don’t have good heating and AC systems and so for them I do worry about them. Although I’d be far more concerned about the heater than the AC because I don’t even have an air conditioning system in my house. We don’t have much of a summer here, it’s more of a couple weeks of warmth and then it is back to the cold environment that I’m so familiar with.
