I was really happy to get our partner’s blessing to do some renovating at our little location in the woods; This location has been in our partner’s family for several generation! It’s now his as he’s an only child.
- It’s an awesome location with plenty of space for our family and friends to enjoy! But it absolutely needed some replaces care about residential Heating and A/C, bedroom appliances and a number of other improvements.
Initially, our partner was quite against decreasing anything inside that spot. The cottage was hand built by his ancestors and he did not want to change anything. I could understand that from his point of view; He was now entrusted with taking care of the cottage and the property, however so he was really protective when it came to keeping the location as it has consistently been, yet, little by little, I talked to him about making changes that would improve our experience. The property is so amazing up there but the accommodations were a bit lacking. I felt care about the cottage should reflect the perfection of all the nature the two of us were in the midst of thanks to our weekend getaway. He finally realized what I was talking about and offered myself and others the okay to have at it. The first thing I did was get the Heating and A/C professionals up there. They put in a ductless multi cut method to produce the heating and cooling our cottage lacked. There was a wood stove there for generations and of course, that stayed. But having those ductless heat pumps absolutely made a difference instantly. It was good to have some quality heating and air in that cottage.
