I’m having the hardest time selling my house.
I know where I live is a popular spot for the wealthy to buy their homes.
I’ve seen many famous actors and singers buying up either properties or houses. I have had this house which was passed down to me from my mother. This house has been in the family for 75 years and I don’t have anyone to give this house to so I’m trying to sell it and live out my days on the beach with a nice beverage to go with it. So I talked to a realtor and I have pretty much done everything anyone has asked me to do to sell it besides one thing. I never upgraded the central air conditioning and heating units. Why would I? These are famous people moving into the area and they can afford to upgrade the HVAC systems. Still, my agent suggested that I do the upgrades and my house should sell within a month or two. So I bit the bullet and called the HVAC company so they can send out a heating and cooling specialist to upgrade my HVAC systems. I’m not pleased that I have to do this but I guess if I want to live out my dream then I should just listen and make the updates. I am going to raise the selling price then! No way am I going to pay for these changes and keep the same listed price. I really hope after I do these upgrades that there is a bidding war and my house sells for way more than I originally asked for.
