Adulting can be such a daunting experience.
On any given day, there is always a list of things that need to get done. They include work tasks, cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, paying bills, and more. There are also tasks that need to be performed on an as needed or on a seasonal schedule. For instance, I get my gutters cleaned once per year, and I also pressure wash my house once per year as well. One important task that I always do is to have my HVAC unit serviced once per year with a licensed HVAC technician. Getting my unit serviced once per year, will guarantee that it is functioning efficiently. It will also extend the life of the machine, while keeping my home as comfortable as possible. Aside from the service, I also perform seasonal tasks on my HVAC unit. They include changing the filters every 90 days, cleaning debris away from the outdoor condenser, and cleaning any excess dust or buildup from the air conditioner vents. Although it’s not necessary, I occasionally have the ductwork cleaned out. These seasonal tasks are just as important as the everyday mundane tasks, so I try my best to get them done. If it were up to me, I would flip a switch and all these tasks that come with being an adult would be done immediately. But until we get to that point, I will continue to perform these daily, yearly, and seasonal tasks. Afterall, they are part of the deal when it comes to being an adult and they will always be daunting tasks.
