Getting better at Heating as well as A/C accountability

I’m very concerned about accountability.

And there are times when I may put too much emphasis on accountability at work.

But, for me, ethics is extremely important, particularly in the commercial Heating and A/C of the office. I see colleagues cut corners or play fast and loose with important rules and regulations. That is not at all my style. So I struggle with holding others to the same level of accountability that I hold myself to when it comes to my work. That has also been a challenge, and I expect it to continue to be so. So it’s a surprise to me that I’m not more accountable for my apartment responsibilities. But, clearly, I haven’t been keeping up my end of the bargain when it comes to the housework. My wife has a lot on her plate with apartment stuff, but she gets it done. She also works full-time, so it was clear that I needed to step up. As a result, I’m putting together a checklist. I’m not talking about a mental checklist, but rather a physical checklist that will assist me in staying on track. This appears to be necessary after I went to change the air filter for the heating and cooling unit only to find it covered in dust and grime. That cannot happen again. The heating and cooling units must always have simple air flow. I’m getting into a routine with the air filter swings, which is also on my new checklist. I need to be more accountable and not make any further mistakes with this.
