My anniversary happened to be Christmas day and I constantly asked for one thing, however it was major… Last year, my hubby asked what I wanted for Christmas, and I told him I wanted a new boiler.
I told him I wanted heat in my office, and since my friend and I couldn’t install a new boiler, I would settle for a mini split for the office, however she just frowned.
She was hoping I would ask for something she could afford, however once again I didn’t consider that when asking for a gift. I was hoping she was just whining to catch me off guard, however the hope was way off. When Christmas arrived, all I had under the tree was a new set of pots and pans. I was disappointed, however I tried not to show it. She apologized and told me she couldn’t afford a new boiler, or a boiler for my office. She did buy me a space heater, however I didn’t like it. The following week, she asked me why I wasn’t working. I told him it was too cold in the office. My fingers got numb trying to type when there was ice on the inside of the windows. She smiled and told me she had a surprise. I followed him back to the office and when she opened the door, there was delicious heat coming out. While I was visiting my mom, she and our child had installed a mini split ductless Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system in the office. I now had heating and air conditioner and it wasn’t in the way of my feet.
