My birthday happened to be Christmas day plus I typically asked for one thing, but it was major.
- Last year, my husband asked what I wanted for Christmas, plus I told him I wanted a current furnace.
I told him I wanted heat in my office, plus since my buddy and I could not install a current furnace, I would settle for a mini split for the office, although he just frowned. He was hoping I would ask for something he could afford, but once again I didn’t consider that when asking for a gift. I was hoping he was just whining to catch me off guard, but the hope was way off. When Christmas arrived, all I had under the tree was a current set of pots plus pans. I was disappointed, but I tried not to show it. He apologized plus told me he could not afford a current furnace, or a boiler for my office. He did buy me a space heater, but I didn’t like it. The following week, he asked me why I wasn’t laboring. I told him it was too freezing in the office. My fingers got numb trying to type when there was ice on the inside of the windows. He smiled plus told me he had a surprise. I followed him back to the office plus when he opened the door, there was delicious heat coming out. While I was visiting my mom, he plus our kid had installed a mini split ductless Heating plus Air Conditioning system in the office. I now had heating plus a/c plus it wasn’t in the way of my feet.
