My birthday happened to be Christmas afternoon and I always asked for one thing, however it was major.
Last year, my fiance asked what I wanted for Christmas, and I told him I wanted a new heater.
I told him I wanted heat in my office, and since my pal and I couldn’t install a new heater, I would settle for a mini split for the office, however he just frowned. He was hoping I would ask for something he could afford, however once again I didn’t consider that when asking for a gift. I was hoping he was just whining to catch me off guard, however the hope was way off. When Christmas arrived, all I had under the tree was a new set of pots and pans. I was disappointed, but I tried not to show it. He apologized and told me he couldn’t afford a new heater, or a furnace for my office. He did buy me a space heater, but I didn’t like it. The following week, he asked me why I wasn’t toiling. I told him it was too frosty in the office. My fingers got numb trying to type when there was ice on the inside of the windows. He smiled and told me he had a surprise. I followed him back to the office and when he opened the door, there was delicious heat coming out. While I was going to see my mom, he and our child had installed a mini split ductless Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system in the office. I now had heating and a/c and it wasn’t in the way of my feet.
