He asked me what kind of hot tub I wanted, and I told him I wasn’t sure.
I do some secret shopping as a hobby. I don’t get paid very much, but it gets me out of the house. A couple of weeks ago, I was asked to go to a hot tub outlet. I received a set of different criteria that I had to look at and a list of questions that had to be asked. I never thought I would walk into a warehouse where half of the area was covered with filled hot tubs. The bubbles were coming up to the top and you could tell there was hot water in the tubs. One salesman asked if I wanted to sit on the side of the tub and dangle my feet in the water. The humidity was outrageous and the water was so hot that I could feel myself sweating by just being near it. I couldn’t believe that they didn’t have a dehumidifier and an air conditioner running. I know that it was fall and all and no one was using air conditioners in our area, but this was ridiculous. It must have been close to ninety in that room. He asked me what kind of hot tub I wanted, and I told him I wasn’t sure. I followed my script as I sat there on the edge of the hot tub. I had to admit that the heat did relax my legs, but my clothing was soaked through from the sweat. I couldn’t wait to get away from the heat and humidity of that hot tub showroom. I turned on the AC in my car and I sat there until I thoroughly cooled off before switching back to heating.
