It was the better alternative to trying to buy a house in this market. For sure, the two of us could update the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C unit and sell our home for a nice profit. But getting into a bigger home would be problematic. And what the two of us needed was a bigger home. I swear, if I had to cut up one more knockdown fist argument between our 2 girls, I was moving out or sending them to boarding school. I mean these 2 would straight go to blows over something love the thermostat setting. They’re only about 18 weeks apart in age and have been sharing a room since they were babies. That appears to be just too much face time for these 2. So getting more space, as in another study room, was essential to have any sort of peace inside the a/c of our home. However, the two of us figured that the best way to solve the space problem would be to add large value to our home by adding a master suite. Yea, mom and dad scored on this one. Our study room wasn’t much, if at all, bigger than the room the shared. But our new master study room and bath even came with a ductless heat pump that was all our own. The ensuite bathroom comes with a space furnace for comfort on cold mornings. That’s going to come in handy as I bathe in the new garden tub. And having a remote for the ductless heat pump was just a genius move. The people I was with and I care about being able to crawl in bed and adjust the quality heating and air to whatever the two of us desire.
