Nobody loves sitting in the home all day while the raindrops fall to the ground… Storms have been moving through the section this Winter time & we’ve been hit by a ton of rain & wind… The two of us had more than twelve inches of rain in the last many weeks & that;s a lot for the area. The two of us have been in drought conditions for the past more than one years. The ground is dry & all that rain just washes right down into the creeks, valleys, & rivers. The two of us had more than one major storm systems come through at the same time & they dumped more rain & wind. The wind toppled multiple trees & there were several section residents that had their homes crushed by trees. The storm survivors had to evacuate their homes abruptly. They were all moved to an section over by the elementary school… One of our coworkers lost his beach home while I was in the storm. The tree came down in the middle of the roof & crushed the locale! It looks love the home was built around the tree now. The roofing corporation looked at the mess & told the man that the home is now a disaster zone. The roof cannot be repaired unless the foundation & the home are put back together first, my acquaintance is getting paid out from his insurance corporation after all of the disfigures & I know he will absolutely use the money to retire & buy a condo anywhere down south. If a tree demolished our house, I might use the money to change our life too.
