Usually my job is not exciting because Heating, Ventilation, & A/C toil is rather routine! Still, I love it because I love problem solving & helping people out… Despite this, it can get a little bit repetitive too; Not much surprises myself and others anymore.
- I go to a jobsite, findout what the issue is with the heating or a/c, & then the two of us solve the problem for the home owners.
It is that self-explanatory, however but Last weekI did get a job that was a bit surprising. It started out as a basic job, some apartment owners wanted to have a/c & heating put into their turn of the century home. This home had never had a central Heating, Ventilation, & A/C plan installed so of course there were a few roadblocks to toil around; However, after figuring the job out, my crew & I got to work. It was when 1 of them cut into the drywall that the job became interesting, then my serviceman found a entirely aged journal that was dated over a hundred years ago. The name on the journal turned out to be a particularly distant relative of the new owner of the house. She was shocked when I showed him the journal & she recognized the name. How the journal ended up in the wall is anyone’s guess. Finding the journal is unusual enough however finding a journal with fastenion to the new family is even stranger. I do not think if it means this apartment is fortunate for this family or unfortunate, and personally, I got a little creeped out by it & was ecstatic when the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C plan was installed at the end of the month & the two of us could leave.
