An interesting find while in an Heating & A/C upgrade

Usually my task is not exciting because Heating & A/C work is rather routine… Still, I like it because I like problem solving & helping people out! Despite this, it can get a little bit repetitive too.

Not much surprises me anymore.

I go to a tasksite, findout what the issue is with the heating or a/c, & after that I solve the problem for the lake apartment owners. It is that simple, but Last weekI did get a task that was a bit surprising. It started out as a basic task, some new lake apartment owners wanted to have a/c & heating put into their turn of the century home. This lake apartment had never had a central Heating & A/C plan installed so of course there were a few roadblocks to work around… However, after figuring the task out, my crew & I got to work. It was when a single of them chop into the drywall that the task became interesting. My professional found a really old journal that was dated over a hundred years ago. The name on the journal turned out to be a actually distant relative of the new owner of the house. He was shocked when I showed him the journal & he recognized the name. How the journal ended up in the wall is anyone’s guess. Finding the journal is different enough however finding a journal with connection to the current family is even stranger. I don’t think if it means this apartment is lucky for this family or unlucky, then personally, I got a little creeped out by it & was cheerful when the Heating & A/C plan was installed at the end of the month & the people I was with and I could leave.
