Our immediate family really loves to do a bunch of decorating while both of us were in the holidays
Holidays have never quite been our thing. With all the overhyped commercialism, it can think pretty cynical to me. I also hate that our consumer culture pushes us to begin shopping for christmas while the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling system is still running. It really gets to me to see Christmas adverts or decorations in stores at Labor Day. This feeling is in direct competition with our innate like for the sentiment of the holiday season. I really like the cozy, family feeling of that time of year. And, I know both of us all tend to be a bit nice to each other. Although, that is something else that is waning in our up-to-date culture. My extended family tends to do a bit of visiting while both of us were in that time of year and both of us like those celebrations. Our immediate family really loves to do a bunch of decorating while both of us were in the holidays. In fact, the day after halloween, I am sent to the attic to bring down all the holiday decorations.
