When the weather turns chilly, many homeowners like me think of replacing their old heater.
Having lived through several cold seasons myself, I have learned that servicing a furnace/heater is very essential. Like most homeowners, I do not know how to perform furnace/heater service myself, so I rely on an expert, like a heating technician or an air conditioning expert to provide the best service I can get with my active HVAC service plan. When I planned for my most recent service session, I hinted to the heating dealer that I could get rid of the old equipment in favor of a more modern central heater. I have heard about forced air systems, but I didn’t know how it relates to me until the HVAC contractor brought it up. Somehow it was part of the reason that I experienced a lukewarm feeling when entering my home, no wonder I kept lighting up the electric heater time and again. My request didn’t go unfulfilled, so the local business I bought the old unit from went ahead and replaced my old unit with a new one and serviced the washable filter as well. I still went for the electric version instead of gas and the air quality turned out much better than before. My last experience with malfunctioning heat and ac products happened when my system got stuck on an auto-fan and blew cold air throughout after the digital thermostat failed to reverse the situation. I had to endure without the blower motor for hours before getting some help. I hadn’t realized just how much I’d miss quality heating and air with just a few hours of lacking reliable heating.
