So, over the last 18 months or so, I’ve tightened up my life.
That may sound strange, but it was long overdue.
I’m a bachelor who lives alone in a two-bedroom house with central air conditioning. It’s unquestionably all the space I require, so I haven’t been looking for a larger site. I enjoy my living space as well; it’s wonderful to sit on 11 acres with no neighbors walking through my yard. But the truth is that I’m a slob. And on several levels. So, about a year and a half ago, I decided to take a more drastic approach to self-care. This meant spending less time inside the air conditioning and more time outside for walks, hikes, bike rides, or whatever. Along with other lifestyle changes, I began to clean up my diet a little. The next thing I know, I’m living like a complete pig. It’s strange how I could have lived like that for so long and not even noticed. It took about a month of weekends, but I finally got the arena thoroughly cleaned and organized. That was also significant because I enjoy living this way. But I also wanted to improve the house’s indoor air quality. I had received a coupon from the Heating and Air Conditioning company for air duct cleaning and resealing. That made perfect sense to me, so I called the heating and cooling professionals and scheduled an appointment. They were pleasant, but the air in my home is even better. I can’t believe how much of a difference disinfecting air ducts has made in my home. It’s simply amazing.
