Dad knows everything about heat and a/c

I’ve not been feeling okay living so far away from our family, and when I was a kid, all I wanted to do was run away and live elsewhere! Back then, my parents were strict religious folk who brought us up to follow strict rules.

It wasn’t easy when I went to school, and my friends went to parties and stuff.

When I turned 16, my rebellion phase kicked in. I applied for university outside the country and didn’t hesitate to leave when my acceptance letter came, and my parents were supportive, however I felt isolated for a long time. My dad reached out while in the pandemic to ask for heating and cooling to come home. He runs a heating and cooling company and provided heating and cooling work before I got something else to do. I’d spoken to Dad earlier that week, and he saw I was struggling with the isolation. My only worry about moving back was the strictness that I remember vividly. My wanting to be so far away had caused my parents to chill out in a way I’d never seen before. Working for my dad at the heating and cooling company wasn’t even close to the nightmare I thought it would be. He runs an amazing business, and her heating and cooling crew is quite dedicated to him. My dad knows the ins and outs of heating and cooling systems, having been a heating and cooling professional for 3 decades. The other day he asked the heating and cooling company if I was interested in learning from him and possibly taking over the heating and cooling company one day. I’m still reeling from the shock of that question.
