The idea to spend two weeks at grandma’s house last summer was amazing.
Our parents took time off work, and we went to be with her.
After grandpa passed away last winter, we were all a bit worried about her living alone. Though we knew she loved the farm and the animals, it was going to be hard for her to manage it without the help of grandpa. So, our parents wanted to convince grandma to sell the place and come live with us in our home. Or perhaps she’d purchase a place near us so we could take care of her. When we arrived, there was an issue with her air conditioning that needed to be sorted out. Dad is the one who mentioned the air conditioner wasn’t running effectively. He works out in the sun all day and has become quite a pro at detecting when the air conditioning is faulty. So, this issue needed to be sorted out since we were staying with grandma for two weeks. Dad and mom hired an HVAC worker from a local heating and AC business to come and do the repairs for the cooling system. The guy arrived several hours later since had other HVAC appointments. He did an excellent job inspecting the unit and noted there were a few faulty parts. The air conditioner also needed a new air filter since the old one was filthy. Fixing the air conditioner took only an hour and we noticed the difference in the farm house after he was gone. Dad was impressed and left a positive review for the heating and AC business.
