There is no doubt that I was quite upset when all of us were first sent house from the zone controlled Heating as well as Air Conditioning of the office.

While I wasn’t necessarily close to retirement, I felt the pressure that I might get cut as well, but then, all of us were well into the Summer of 2020 as well as the layoffs stopped. I just kept doing our labor as well as trying to do the best with our team from the central air conditioning system of our home. But by that fall I was the next one to get dumped. I got a bit of a severance package however that was it. After more than 20 years laboring for that company, no one even reached out to personally say goodbye. But that sort of lit a fire underneath me. So I had the Heating as well as Air Conditioning company come out as well as install a ductless heat pump in our new house office. And I got to labor competing against the company that had just unceremoniously dumped me. I labor as an industry analyst for the competitors of our seasoned company.
