So when I was younger I did live downtown for a few years, and I lived right smack dab in the middle of all the action I did.
And sure enough the place I stayed at was tiny! I got used to it really, because that after all was what I asked for, what I absolutely wanted was the location after all; Now, I bet you would guess because this place was so small, with small windows plus low ceilings plus only 2 rooms, that when I would need to heat or cool the place, it would happen in an instant, then well, you would be right! In the Summer I would turn on the air conditioning, plus in the Winter I would turn on the heater, and within minutes I’d be perfectly moderate as it were, in the heated or chilled out air conditioned bliss! But it turned out that can be a tiny bit of a mixed blessing too sometimes it seems, because, it turned out that the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C device in that building was not the perfect match for all the sizes of units not to mention the heat or chilly traps that always parts of some buildings are going to have, and so in the case of my unit, it would heat up so abruptly that it would turn off before the furnace had a chance to add moisture into the air, and so place would be absolutely really dry in the Winter as a result, so I ended up getting a small space heater plus a dehumidifier, and don’t you know by doing this I soon had the perfect set up for when it wasn’t that cold, plus when it did get absolutely too chilly I would just switch to the central heating.
