My dad recently died.
I just noticed that the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C clicked on again.
It feels a bit unusual but, I guess that would be normal. We were best friends, especially the last two or three years. He was an absolutely gentle person and a real difficult ass all at once. I entirely appreciate all the ways he was because he was quite particular . So, he left myself and others his house. This was shocking turn of events to say the very least. There was no way I was expecting anything more than a firm handshake from my amazing dad. He was always there in a pinch despite the fact that he was no charity. I truly love that. At this point in time, I am to decide whether I want to live in that home or not. The place really needs work. First thing to go is the ancient heating and cooling methods. This home was built in the late 30’s and is a subtle masterpiece. It will sit for the rest of time. But the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C is actually nonexistent based on this week’s standards. There is this giant boiler in the basement in terms of heat. I prefer that type of heat but, the costs are not sustainable. Along with that, there is basically no air conditioning. I think there are like 3 window units in the house. They were only turned on while in the hottest weeks during a typical year. So, I decided to meet with a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation to see what our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C openings are. I totally get that the newer technologies allow for some absolutely practical, however creative heating and cooling plans, then perhaps just getting the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C information will help myself and others get close to a decision on what to do with the house. It is a cool home and I could totally see myself living out there. Thanks for everything Dad.
